When is the best time to travel?

Best time to travel

When is the best time to travel? Well, there is probably great debate about when to travel. There is so much to think about, where you’re from, what you do for work, family obligations etc. I am going to talk about the best time I think is for Canadians to travel.

Best time to Travel?

For me personally I have a couple answers, but as a travel agent they are different. Personally, anytime between mid-January to Mid-March would be the best time. Winter is hitting hard, the February blahs are kicking in and you may even be suffering from SAD, seasonal affective disorder. February is usually when it hits the hardest. SAD is linked to lack of sunlight, change in seasons and is most relevant in the winter. One of the recommendations is to take a sunny vacation!

Travelling Canadians

Now as a Canadian there is two seasons where people want to get away. Winter travelers look for the warm sun and cool waters. Summer travelers are looking for the adventure. Now, this doesn’t mean everyone, don’t think that we only travel in winter and summer. Personally, I also like the fall mostly due to the cheap prices. Because I am willing to risk travelling during hurricane season I find some good deals in October.

Travel agent advice

My advice as to the best time to travel is, when you want to. If you want to travel in May, Dec or March you can. Finding the right destination may be the trick. But as a travel agent that’s where I come in. I can help find the trip you want in your budget.

I love to recommend places I have been and things I have done. That is why I started my travel blog. I will write my reviews about places, food, excursions, clothes anything related to travel.
