Three weeks in

By on September 21, 2013

We have been here 3 weeks and we have done so much. Today we raced up a hill that would have killed us (and less of one did). We have been in a bunch of churches that are breathtaking. We have met and made friends with people from almost every country. Two nights ago we sat with a German couple who only spoke spoke a bit of English. Oh, and these strange speaking Aussies. But we love’em. And i better mention that we miss our Reno couple who we left behind. ‘Cus we really do.

Last night we sat in on some Gregorian Chants in a run down but beautiful old church. We stayed with a English hostel where we had tea at 4:30 with a almost all English speaking group.

Two days ago we were on the longest bridge of some sort ( I think it was longest stone bridge in Europe) that was as old as Canada. ( that could be wrong too, sue me…).

We have had the most boring walk across the plains of Spain. And I mean boring. So much so we took a bus for a bunch of it.

We have learned a lot of lessons. Each time we think we have got our head wrapped around an idea this place, the Camino, throws something new to change our ideas.

That being said, we have two weeks left so I’m sure there will be a lot more to learn.

Buen Camino.
