So I am trying to make a real effort to blog about my planned trip to Peru and as we search out new places to go I realize I can’t pronounce any of the destinations. Now I have been practising Spanish and am fairly confident I can get food, water and a place to sleep for the night but if I need to ask about Patallaqta Cusichaka Canyon or Llulluchayoq I may be in trouble or insulting someone. I will stick with Inka Trail for now.
The process of planning this trip is a bit different than Spain I need to know where I am going, what hotels I am staying in and book the travel ahead of time like busses or trains.
On top of this we will be meeting our friends we met on the Camino who live in Australia and the time difference makes it a bit dificult to coordinate.
So we are booking our travel today from Toronto to Cuzco then Cuzco to Juliaca where we will visit Lake Titicaca (yes pronounced exactly how you think) then from Juliaca to Lima and then back to Toronto. 16 days of fun and torture wrapped into one vacation.
