One foot in front of the Other-with a Tattoo
I am writing this blog before I even have a title, thats because I am not sure how to explain.
Today I got a tattoo, but I earned it, I walked 600KM (give or take) across Spain with just my backpack and and arrow or a shell to give me directions. OK I did have a book but sometimes it wasn’t much help. So after that what do you do to remeber such a journey but get a tattoo right.
My feet were blistered, sore, dry and in pain most of the trip so it was only fitting that the tattoo be on my foot right…NO, NO, NO. It was the most painful thing ever, I thought the guy was sawing my foot off, there were some not so nice words out my mouth BUT, I did not cry!
So now I have a tattoo on my foot and the first thing I think of is OMG I have a tattoo on my foot, forever, it is never coming off what on earth did I do.
Then I look at it and think I was right I did earn this and every time I look at I will think about how every morning no matter what I got up and started walking and walking and then did it again the next day and so on. So I have a reminder that I can do anything if I just put one foot in front of the other and start.
